Prior to moving to Hervey Bay in 2007, SDA Plumbing was operating in Melbourne. Before then I attended Tech School, where I thought of becoming a chef, however, the hours meant a stop to play footy on the weekends which I could not give up. I decided to study plumbing at Swinburne University.

 

Stuart has been a plumber for over 30 years and enjoys doing something different every day. His skills lay in learning about new techniques, such as using CCTV cameras underground. Working with new and existing customers and helping them fix, service or install, gives him the job satisfaction and good challenge he needs.

 

Stuart has welcomed new employees and apprentices throughout the years and believes in giving something back to the trade industry by teaching them the correct plumbing services and providing some kind of pathway for their future.

 

"We are a great team and on occasion work on location laying materials, but usually, go out on our own for home or company jobs, so there is a lot of flexibility as well." - Stuart
